Warehouse Associate - Shipper

to join PMF Plumbing Supplies (a division of Desco Plumbing & Heating Supply) at our Mississauga location, 1775 Bonhill Road.

Shift Time:

Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 5:00pm

The Opportunity:

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate (Shipping), is responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse operations including but not limited to:

Shipping and vehicle loading Receiving and unloading incoming shipments Order picking, packing and staging Cycle counting and replenishment Verification and stocking of materials into inventory Assisting in annual physical inventory preparation and counts Operating safely and maintaining warehouse equipment and vehicles (i.e. Raymond Reach) Follow all Health and Safety standards and procedure Assist in warehouse or branch duties as required. Other duties as assigned

What You Offer:

Minimum 1-2 Years previous warehouse experience Minimum 1 Year of Raymond Reach experience Valid G Driver's License is an asset Experience with Fedex, Purolator, UPS and other 3rd Party Carriers (inputting into the various portals to confirm shipment pickups and print BOL's). Comfortable with cross border shipment requirements (BOLS and custom invoices). Experience gaining Quotes from 3rd party carriers for our existing customers. Knowledge of Mincron (ERP Software), preferred Ability to respond positively to all situations that may occur, quick thinker and able to handle pressure Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute to company success Excellent organizational and critical thinking skills Detail oriented Excellent computer skills
