Job Description

We're hiring for a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our small but mighty operations team at our Mississauga warehouse, with an immediate start. We're looking for reliable, hardworking individual, who is a self starter, and strives in a fast-paced environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring shipments are handled accurately and efficiently, and requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a collaborative, can-do attitude.

Matheson & Tomken:

11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:



Customer Service:

This role is client facing. Provide excellent customer service to our clients when handling shipments, addressing inquiries, and ensuring a smooth, positive experience.

Shipment Handling:

Scan, sort, and process shipments with accuracy and care.

Pallet Jack Operation:

Safely move shipments using manual pallet jacks.

Loading/Unloading:

Assist with loading and unloading of trucks using pallet trucks.

Organization & Accuracy:

Maintain a clean and orderly workspace while ensuring shipments are processed accurately and on time.

Multitasking Under Pressure:

Manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment without compromising on safety or quality.

Tech-Savvy Communication:

Comfortable using basic technology (scanning tools, internal systems, etc.) to support audits and communicate clearly with team members.

Open/Closing duties:

Perform opening and closing tasks such as preparing the workspace for operations, locking up, and ensuring all shipments are properly processed and accounted for.

Requirements:



2+ years in customer service. Previous experience in warehouse operations preferred, but not required. Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks. Must be punctual, reliable, and able to commute to our Mississauga location. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Maintains a professional attitude and conduct at all times, contributing to a respectful and productive work environment.
