Position Summary: We have a job opening in our fast-paced warehouse environment as a Warehouse Associate for Shipping, Receiving, Picking and Packing of Pharmaceuticals at our State of the Art Warehouse located in Mississauga Ontario. The position is responsible for:
- Pick-pack, receiving, handling, and shipping within this highly automated, distribution center.
- Maintaining the GxP standards as prescribed by QA Department, cleanliness, safe operation of material handling equipment.
- Inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
- Security and safety of the warehouse.
- Ensuring compliance with Operational Health and Safety Standards.
- Improving the process flow of the DC, conducting the inventory physical count and ensuring smooth and quality operations.
- Minimum High School Diploma.
- Externally licensed with any one of the following forklifts: Counter Balance, Raymond Reach, Order (Cherry) Picker, or Dock Stocker.
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent Order Picking experience (manufacturing or warehouse).
- Candidate should have experience using RF scanner or Manual picking.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast pace environment.
- Proven track record in efficient Order Picking with attention to detail/accuracy
- Reliable and self-motivated individuals.
- Lifting involved up to 35 LBS.
- Pharmaceutical background preferred but not required.
- SAP background preferred but not required, however intermediate knowledge of computer applications a must.
- Labelling, sorting, and documentation.
- At least 2 Supervisory references.
- 2 pieces of Government issued ID (at least one photo ID).
- Other duties as assigned.
