Job Overview

City Furniture & Appliances Lethbridge is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse and delivery operations, including inventory management, shipping and receiving, deliveries and materials handling. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and the ability to operate various equipment safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels. Completed daily delivery of furniture, appliances, mattresses and electronics. Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading goods. Perform picking and packing duties for order fulfillment while adhering to safety standards. Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory movements. Assist in shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring all products are correctly documented. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations. Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Participate in regular inventory audits to verify stock accuracy. Handle materials with care to prevent damage during storage and transportation. Support packaging efforts for outgoing shipments.

Skills

Proficiency in inventory management and control techniques. Experience operating heavy equipment including cranes, forklifts, and order pickers. Familiarity with warehouse distribution, delivery, shipping/receiving processes and best practices. Mechanical knowledge related to equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the job. Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred. Understanding of shipping & receiving protocols, including order picking and fulfillment processes. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in stocking and materials handling tasks. Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
