Job Description

Responsibilities




Accurately pick and fill orders from stock Deliver components to production team in a timely and safe manner using manual material handling methods, or with the use of a forklift Operate, with highest level of safety and accuracy, various material handling equipment (e.g. forklift, reach truck, pump truck) including tight spaces and up to heights of 30 ft Identify and report inventory discrepancies to supervisor Conduct daily pre-use inspections of the forklift (as applicable) Stock and rearrange the warehouse space as needed in order to maintain organization Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures Maintain a clean, safe work environment at all times Other duties as required

Requirements




Proven competence and work experience in internal supply chain functions in a manufacturing facility Strong attention to detail in a fast paced, demanding, changing environment Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and take orders from superiors Ability to effectively manage time and meet set targets and deadlines Enthusiastic team player Very strong safety focus Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers Positive attitude & desire to learn Basic computer skills; simple data entry experience an asset Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., repetitively on occasion Strong reading, writing and communication skills * A valid forklift certification with narrow aisle and reach truck experience may be required
