you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of some of the world's finest wines, spirits, and beers to our customers throughout Nova Scotia. , you will be part of a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best possible service, and that our wide range of products are delivered efficiently and on time.
Hours:
Full time. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
Work Location:
Bishop's Cellar Warehouse - 3607 Strawberry Hill Street.
Accurately receive, label, and store incoming goods.
Pick customer orders.
Conduct regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
Promptly report inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Operations Manager.
Safety & Compliance
Follow company guidelines for product handling, storage, and quality control.
Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Identify and report potential safety hazards or incidents to supervisors.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jackets, and hand tools.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Teamwork & Continuous Improvement
Work effectively with team members to meet productivity and accuracy goals.
Communicate clearly with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth workflows.
Provide support during peak operational periods, including overtime when necessary.
Participate in training sessions to enhance job skills and knowledge.
Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and share suggestions with supervisors.

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is considered an asset. Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification) is considered an asset.
Basic knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations.
Ability to lift and move heavy items (weighing up to 40lb) safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
