Summary of Position:



The Warehouse Associate at ELREG Distributors plays a crucial role in our company's success by effectively managing product packaging, stamping, shipping, receiving and inventory management activities. This position will also assist the Technician with product assembly, testing, diagnostics, and repair as needed.

Key Responsibilities:



Warehouse and Inventory: You will be responsible for organizing stock, maintaining supplies, tracking product movements within the warehouse. This involves accurately documenting incoming and outgoing shipments in SAGE100, conducting regular stock checks, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace, equipment inspections and hazard identification. You will assist with the cycle and full counts as scheduled. Shipping and Receiving: In this role, you will ensure that customer orders are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This includes coordinating with logistics partners, preparing shipping labels, and verifying the accuracy of incoming shipments against purchase orders. You will enter inbound and outbound order updates into Sage100 for processing and identify backorder arrivals to Sales. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team, procurement, and other internal departments to ensure seamless customer experience. Communicate opportunities, and potential issues to relevant departments, contributing to continuous improvement. Technician Support: Assist the Technician with testing, diagnostics, and assembly activities during downtime. Build knowledge of rotating electrical products through hands on experience and mentorship by the Technician.

Qualifications:



1. Previous distribution experience related to shipping and receiving activities.

2. Familiarity with rotating electrical products is an asset.

3. Excellent customer service and communication skills.

4. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Sage100 experience is an asset.

5. Attention to detail and ability to work independently, often in a fast-paced environment.

6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines.

7. Excellent organizational and documentation skills to maintain accurate records.

8. Professionalism and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Health, Safety, Environment, Security



The Warehouse Associate will be fully trained in WHMIS, use of PPE, safety protocols, safe operation of all equipment, and all applicable regulations and legislation as required.

Physical Requirements



Lifting not to exceed 120 pounds, ability to sit, stand or walk for varied lengths of time with physical dexterity to perform job.

Regular Hours of Work



40hrs/week - Monday to Friday (day shift)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.50-$24.00 per hour
