Duties

Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, and other heavy equipment to load and unload shipments Pick, pack, and prepare orders using RF scanners and pickers for timely dispatch Manage materials handling tasks including stacking pallets, organizing inventory, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments against documentation Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements accurately Conduct regular safety inspections adhering to OSHA standards and report any hazards or incidents Support warehouse supervisor in coordinating daily operations and maintaining a safe work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related roles with familiarity in warehouse management systems Valid forklift certification; experience operating cranes, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues Prior warehouse experience with heavy lifting and materials handling required Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations applicable to warehouse environments Ability to operate RF scanners efficiently for accurate order picking and inventory management Construction or logistics background is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 1-3 months

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
