Job Description

Amalgamated Mining Services (AMS) is a division of Amalgamated Mining Group and provides both aftermarket and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts for machines rented or refurbished. We offer a comprehensive stock of new and used parts and accessories for various makes and models of mining equipment.

This position is a permanent, full time position working forty hours a week, located at 9615 37 Ave. AMS offers a full compensation package including above market pay, health and dental benefits, and retirement savings.

Reporting to the Parts Lead, this position is responsible for assisting the Shipper/Receiver with shipping, and receiving parts inventory. This position will also move and organize parts inventory, package parts for shipping, and ensure proper documentation and safety procedures are followed.

Assist with all shipping, receiving, and organization of inventory Sort, organize and move inventory to the proper location Scan delivered items and assess parts for damages Perform detailed manual inventory counts Update logs and documentation for inventory processing and audits Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory

We're looking for someone who is willing to work hard, come with a positive, friendly attitude and willingness to learn.

The must haves include:

Solid communication skills and inventory skills Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Good attention to detail Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work Ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs
Nice to have but not mandatory are:

High school diploma or GED preferred Proven work experience in a warehouse setting is an asset Familiarity with the use of hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other necessary warehouse equipment is an asset Ability to skillfully and safely operate a forklift is an asset. Training available onsite. Good working knowledge of warehouse data systems Valid driver's license for the occasional parts pick up is needed
