Job Description

Randstad Staffing, Canada's #1 Integrated Staffing firm is actively recruiting for a warehouse associate to work for one of our clients located in Dartmouth.
This is a PERMANENT HIRE position is estimated to begin in the new year.

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
-Coordinating and processing product
-Preparing and loading material in a timely manner so as to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
-Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods
-Receiving all incoming shipments and authorizing for correctness of the product received
-Distributing product to correct area in the Warehouse
-Ensuring good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in shipping area
-Picking orders as required

Responsibilities
Loading, unloading and moving products and materials to designated locations in the warehouse, and assisting in picking and placing orders
Checking received orders and confirming that all inventory transactions are completed and documented
Loading, unloading, and moving products and materials by hand or equipment

Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Must have own steel toed boots
- 5 years previous warehouse experience
- Fork Lift Experience would be ideal
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills,
- Positive attitude and customer service oriented,
- Previous experience in a wholesale environment would be an asset
