Position Summary
As a Warehouse Associate at Rocketline, you will play a key role in the daily operations of our warehouse by ensuring efficient picking, receiving, put-away, and shipping of goods. This role requires attention to detail, strong organization skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Various housekeeping tasks are also critical to the position, this includes and not limited to, removing garbage, maintaining walkways from snow and ice and sweeping the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, stage, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners and NetSuite's WMS module
Receive and inspect incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
Perform put-away tasks
Assist in loading and off-loading delivery trucks as required
Conduct cycle counts and support regular inventory audits
Follow warehouse waving schedule to prioritize order picking
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
Assist with consolidation of pallets, bin counting, and general upkeep of the warehouse
Adhere to all company SOPs and work instructions delivered by the Warehouse Manager, Lead Hand or other members of the Management team.
Other tasks as required
Duties and responsibilities may change or evolve based on operational needs. Employees will be notified of any significant changes in accordance with applicable legislation.
Qualifications
Previous warehouse experience preferred, ideally in a distribution or logistics setting
Ability to operate RF scanners and basic understanding of WMS systems (NetSuite experience an asset)
MHE (Material Handling Equipment) for Counterbalance Certification is required. Licence must be valid.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures
Working Conditions
Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, (Mon-Fri), 40 hours/week
Two 15-minute paid breaks and one 30-minute unpaid lunch
Warehouse environment; must wear CSA-approved steel-toe footwear and safety vest
Water permitted in sealed containers; food not allowed on warehouse floor
Must be available during peak times and flexible to assist during high-volume periods
This role is subject to the provisions of Ontario's Employment Standards Act, 2000 (ESA), including hours of work, rest periods, and overtime pay where applicable. Overtime may be required and will be compensated in accordance with ESA requirements.
