: Warehouse Associate

REPORTS TO

: Warehouse Supervisor

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Permanent, Full-Time, 12-hour shifts

SALARY

: Compensation commensurate with education and experience, $18-$21/hour

LOCATION

: Charlottetown, PEI

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with shipping, receiving, and stocking of materials. Assist with ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts, in warehouse.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply production with raw materials and packaging as required Complete accurate monthly inventory counts Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments based on SOPs Complete necessary paperwork and data entry thoroughly, accurately and in a timely manner Inspect products for damages; report as needed Unload and place products appropriately Tag and label materials Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment Cleaning and sanitation duties Other tasks as assigned Assemble goods to be shipped and prepare identifying information and shipping instructions

QUALIFICATIONS

High school graduation or GED required Valid forklift certification Ability to understand and follow all safety and operating procedures in food production Knowledge of basic math as well as English reading and writing skills Ability to work shift work in a 24/7 production environment Previous warehouse / receiving experience Experience with warehouse equipment such as: hand trucks and pallet jacks Ability to lift 40lbs Working knowledge of warehouse data systems
