, confirms that materials received are as ordered and routes incoming and outgoing, and support the warehouse duties. The company will provide training in all aspects of your role. The Warehouse Associate will work closely with the Production manager and other cross functional teams to make recommendations for product and process improvements to help support and propagate a continuous improvement mentality.

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions for this role are:

Operate forklift

Be motivated, well organized, punctual, respectful, honest, and a fast learner

Use of hand and power tools. Eye-hand coordination

Mechanical and electrical assemblies

Cleaning and repair electronics devices and equipment

Ability to lift to 75lbs continuously

Clean and maintain a safe work area

Operate forklifts to safely load and unload trucks, trailers, and other delivery vehicles

Transport materials between warehouse, storage yards, and loading areas

Perform general labour duties such as lifting, sorting, stacking, cleaning, and site maintenance

Package/Pick product for shipping

Load/Unload product for incoming and outgoing shipments

Receiving of product with 100% accuracy

Work Conditions

Full Time, permanent Position

Schedule: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Frequent moving people and mechanical parts

Unpacking of boxes/packages may result in cuts and scrapes especially to hands and fingers

Pushing of waste bins and carts may lead to strains

Warehousing area can become busy in which the incumbent will have to perform quick turnarounds which may lead to stress

Qualifications, Education

Some post-secondary courses with strong analytical skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Expected hours: 40 per week
