Position Overview:
As Warehouse Associate, you'll be responsible for contributing to the execution of day-to-day operations within our Calgary-based distribution center. This includes picking, packing and shipping a diverse inventory of boots, outerwear, and apparel, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, within a high-performing warehouse team. You'll play a role in optimizing inventory flow, maintaining a safe and organized facility, and ensuring fast, accurate order fulfillment for both retail and e-commerce customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Participating in all warehouse functions, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
Inventory control for a wide range of SKUs (footwear, clothing, and accessories), including cycle counts and reconciliations.
Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP) to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and process orders efficiently.
Coordinating with internal departments (production, customer service, logistics) and external partners (suppliers, shipping carriers) to meet delivery timelines.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility while ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards and equipment protocols.
Continuously identifying opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce operational costs, and support company growth.
Qualifications:
1+ year(s) of warehousing experience, preferably in the apparel and footwear industry.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and distribution.
Experience in both retail and e-commerce fulfillment environments.
Familiarity with seasonal inventory management.
Proficiency with warehouse management systems and barcode scanning.
Proven ability to collaborate and work in a motivated high efficiency team.
Experience in process optimization and training is considered an asset.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in Alberta.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet when required.
Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, or business is an asset.
