Description



As Warehouse Associate, you are responsible for supporting the warehouse operations, which receive, store, move and ships product to and from the warehouse. You will be accountable to load, unload, move and store products in an efficient and safe manner. You will work to ensure orders are complete and on time meeting order integrity of - the right quantities in the right place at the right time, in the right loading patterns. In this role, you will follow the warehouse layout, health & safety programs, and sanitation requirements. While supporting the tasks within the warehouse, your primary functions will consist of operating multiple types of powered equipment required to unload, pick, pack or ship products at any time during your scheduled shift. As a qualified Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the completion of daily checklists, machine cleanliness and general maintenance as well as all safety expectations required to operate the material handling equipment.

Day in the Life of a Warehouse Associate



While adhering to policies and procedures as well as regulatory compliance, load, unload, move, store, and pick products according to purchase orders on behalf of customers. Execute warehouse standards, with a focus on accuracy, to achieve maximum productivity. Primary operator of powered equipment and other machinery as required. Replenish, put away, load and unload any required pallets or items required for machine operation. Check accuracy of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders. Perform product repacking activities. Advise Supervisor of any issues that impact the production schedule and/or quality of the operation, as well as the health and safety of the employees. Follow security, sanitation and general upkeep standards of the warehouse. Maintain a daily material handling equipment log those reports on any required repairs or unsafe operation of any pieces of material handling equipment. Ensure the safe operation of all material handling equipment within the facility.

Qualifications



Shift Requirements - 10:00am- 6:00pm, 11:00am - 7:00pm Minimum 1-year warehouse experience Must be able to repeatedly load, unload, move, store, and pick products up to 50lbs. A high school diploma or equivalent would be an asset but not mandatory Must have steel-toed work boots

Working Environment



Position works in a warehouse environment. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, lifting, and power equipment operation. Due to the nature of our business, you may be required to work on nights, weekends and holidays.
