Exciting opportunity to join a growing business building clean water filtration systems that provides clean drinking water for homes across Canada. Our Warehouse Associates are responsible for preparing, assembling, testing, and packing water treatment materials and kits according to the production schedule. They are responsible for operating forklifts, and handling materials.
Key Responsibilities
Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
Safely operate a forklift
Load and unload materials from the warehouse
Organize product and material both by hand and with a forklift
Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Branch Manager.
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
Operates power tools and various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
Assist with shipping/receiving when required.
Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
1-3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
Forklift Certification (training will be provided)
1-3 years or more of forklift experience and safe operation of various power tools an asset
