Position Summary



The Warehouse Associate - Assembly & Inventory is responsible for performing product assembly, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring efficient organization of materials within the warehouse. This role supports the smooth flow of goods from receipt to shipment and contributes to maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities



Assembly



Assemble products, components, or equipment according to company specifications, work orders, or schematics. Inspect parts and materials for defects or inconsistencies prior to assembly. Operate basic hand tools and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain clean and organized assembly workstations. Ensure all finished goods meet quality control standards before storage or shipment.

Inventory Management



Receive, count, label, and store incoming materials and supplies. Accurately record all inventory transactions in the warehouse management system (WMS) or logs. Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in full physical inventories. Monitor inventory levels to identify shortages, overstock, or discrepancies. Prepare materials for production, assembly, or outgoing orders. Assist in packaging, labeling, and staging completed products for dispatch.

General Warehouse Operations



Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in accordance with company and safety policies. Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping targets. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications



Education & Experience



High school diploma or equivalent required. 1-2 years of warehouse, assembly, or manufacturing experience preferred. Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems is an asset.

Skills & Competencies



Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to read and follow work orders, diagrams, or blueprints. Basic computer literacy (data entry, scanning systems). Good communication and teamwork skills. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one preferred.

Work Environment



Warehouse environment with exposure to moderate noise, dust, and machinery. May require lifting, bending, or standing for long periods. Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

Performance Indicators



Accuracy of assembled products and inventory records. Timeliness of order fulfillment and material handling. Adherence to safety and quality standards. Team collaboration and reliability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
