Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (weekend work may be required)

Salary/Wages:

Starting at $16.00/hr

Successful applicants must have access to reliable transportation as we are not accessible by city transit or rideshare.

THE COMPANY

T&T Seeds is at the starting line of gardens in Canada and has been since 1946 providing a robust and diversified selection of flower and vegetable seeds, seedling fruit and non-fruit trees, shrubs, perennial bulbs, plants, nutrients and gardening supplies. Our proprietary production processes and tailored fulfillment operations, combined with our expertise in gardening and customer care aim to help our customers thrive.

Serving Canadians, coast to coast with our online, phone and local garden center sales channels, we focus on gardeners of all sizes with an expertise in supplying and supporting small to midsize gardens and farms. Whether a garden is for supplying families, grocers, communities or manufacturers we are there.

THE POSITION

We are looking for highly motivated, and hardworking individuals to work in our warehouse. Successful candidates will have excellent attention to detail, the ability to work on multiple tasks and be a team player. This is a dynamic position and primarily includes tasks related to the production, picking, packing, and shipping of our seeds and perishables to our customers all across Canada.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

Prepare, package and perform quality control on seed orders
- Fulfilling customer orders in a timely fashion, with a focus on accuracy

Prepare, package and perform quality control on young rootstock including: roots, bulbs, trees & shrubs. Unload and stock shipments Shipment related tasks -picking, packing and labeling Help maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse

REQUIREMENTS

Basic computer skills Strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and be a positive team player Warehouse experience an asset Ability to follow detailed instructions Excellent organization and multi-tasking Ability to lift 50lbs Must be able to work on your feet for all or majority of your shift in a fast-paced environment Ability to record data, stay organized and keep track of assigned tasks Must love dogs! (We have warehouse dogs)
