Brown's Industrial has an opportunity available for a highly motivated individual. The

Warehouse Assistant/Shipper & Receiver

plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of parts and equipment in and out of our facility. You'll be responsible for handling incoming shipments, organizing inventory, preparing outgoing orders, and supporting the parts and service teams with logistics and documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against invoices or other documents.

Record shortages, report damages, and reject non-conforming or damaged goods.

Unpack, label, store and distribute material, tools, equipment and supplies throughout the warehouse.

Accurately Prepare and package outgoing shipments in a timely manner.

Maintain organized inventory in the parts department and assist with regular inventory counts.

Coordinate with service technicians and parts staff to ensure timely delivery of required items.

Maintain up to date shipping/receiving records and documentation.

Load, Unload, transport freight/stock to and from loading docks, delivery vehicles, and storage areas, either manually or using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or other lift equipment.

Ensure cleanliness and organization of the shipping/receiving area.

Operate pick up truck to pick up or deliver freight as required.

Role Requirements:

Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse operations (preferred).

Familiarity with heavy equipment parts or mechanical components is an asset.

Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.

Ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail, and awareness of surroundings, in a fast-paced, safety-sensitive environment.

Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems.

Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain).

Candidate must have a valid Class 5 drivers license and provide a driver's abstract.

Candidate must also pass a Drug & Alcohol Test & Physical Demand Analysis.
