WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT



Denver Property Restoration is looking to hire a new member to our team. We are a 24-hour emergency response company, with our focus on the restoration of fire, flood, wind damage, sewer backups and site remediation properties within Winnipeg and remote communities. We pride ourselves on helping to restore a home or business to its pre-loss condition and strive to maintain a reputation for excellent work and customer service.

We are looking for a customer-focused, hardworking individual with a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn and grow. As the Warehouse Assistant, you will be working with our Warehouse Manager, in managing the organization's material inventory, company fleet, equipment, and general management of the warehouse.

Typical duties include, but are not limited to:



Warehouse Responsibilities:



Ensures warehouse is properly maintained, stocked, functional and clean. Includes: Carpenters area, paint shop, equipment staging area, material staging area. Issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and the accounting system. Uses computer programs such as MS Office and related company software. Maintains inventory of all stocked materials and equipment. Perform periodic facility inspections, develop preventative maintenance schedules.

Additional duties as required.



Requirements:



Backround in residential construction and/or warehouse experience.

Must have a valid Manitoba drivers' license

and able to provide a Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Registry Check and an Adult Abuse Registry Check, along with a Driver's Abstract. Must be able to drive forklift, scissor Lift and skid steer. Must be able to hook up and pull a trailer, this includes to work site, dump, and supply pick up. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and be physically fit. Must be mechanically included. Practical knowledge and safe operation of enclosed trailers, equipment and power tools. Must be detailed oriented. Must be computer literate. Positive & professional attitude. Ability to work unsupervised, and in a team environment. Must be able to lift equipment and materials, able to stand on your feet for extended periods of time. CSA steel toe footwear must be worn at all times when on job sites or in the warehouse.
