Odyssey has an established Medical Direction and symptom relief program to support first responders, medics, and advanced medical team practitioners in providing efficient, discreet and exceptional care.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:



As the

Warehouse and Logistics Lead

at Odyssey Medical, you are responsible for supporting event medical operations through the effective coordination of logistics, equipment, and supplies. You will manage the maintenance and repair of vehicles and equipment, ensure timely staging and transportation of materials to event sites, and uphold a clean and organized warehouse environment. Your role contributes directly to the success of event readiness and field operations, playing a key role in supporting patients, clients, and crew.

, ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with safety, compliance, and organizational standards. You will be expected to lead by example, uphold safety and regulatory standards, and assist in developing systems that support the efficient flow of materials and equipment, all while maintaining our commitment to operational excellence and a collaborative team culture.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:



Previous experience leading a small team with the ability to provide guidance and instruction as needed. You are highly collaborative and enjoy being a contributing member of a team working with other departments to execute tasks. Experience loading, delivering, staging and unloading equipment and supplies. Knowledge of event medical supplies is an advantage. Ability to organize vehicle maintenance by detailing and prepping vehicles and trailers and completing regulatory paperwork, including TDG, Vehicle Inspection Reports, etc. Ability to work to a high safety standard including identifying and communicating any safety hazards at event sites, in vehicles or trailers or at company facilities. Mechanically inclined and have some knowledge of small engine function and repair to be able to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions. You pride yourself in maintaining good housekeeping practices and processes to ensure equipment and supplies inventory is controlled.

Ability to track, organize, and manage stock levels efficiently to minimize losses and avoid overstocking or stockouts.

Leadership and Team Management

Strong skills in leading warehouse staff, assigning tasks, motivating teams, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Logistics and Supply Chain Knowledge

Deep understanding of logistics processes, transportation methods, procurement, and overall supply chain operations.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills

Ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and quickly resolve issues related to delays, damages, or inventory discrepancies.

Technology Proficiency

Familiarity with warehouse management systems and other logistics technologies to improve efficiency and accuracy.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS- WHAT WE REQUIRE:



High school diploma required. Post-secondary education is an advantage. Active Standard First Aid/CPR certificate is an advantage. Current G driver's licence and clean Motor Vehicle Record required. Experience towing trailers. Physically fit. Able to lift 50 lbs. Must pass a background check. Assist with order picking, packing and shipping as needed. Performing other relevant duties as assigned. Enjoy working in the outdoors.

WORKING CONDITIONS:



Shift: Hours per week vary; 35+ hours per week Overtime, evenings and/or weekends may be required and would be discussed beforehand and mutually agreed upon Location: 28 Currie Street, Barrie, ON Ergonomics: Regular standing, walking, climbing, lifting to 50 lbs, bending, stretching, squatting, pushing, and pulling. Occasional sitting. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, vibration, road conditions, vehicle and human traffic, computer screen, dangerous equipment, and the public.
