Oversee and perform daily warehouse operations and logistics for AMEG. This includes receiving, organizing, inventory management, procurement, order preparation, distribution, and client supply coordination. The role ensures cost-effective sourcing, accurate stock control, efficient deliveries, and timely fulfillment for stores and resale customers while upholding safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations
Receive goods: unload shipments, verify quantities, check expiration dates/condition, and log in MarketMan.
Organize warehouse: store products according to layout, label/categorize items (ABC classification, lot numbers, expiration dates).
Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of storage areas.
Conduct regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and record outgoing inventory accurately.
Identify and report discrepancies (damage, spoilage, shortages).
Order Fulfillment & Dispatch
Review and process customer orders in MarketMan.
Pick, verify, and pack orders following FEFO (First Expired, First Out).
Prepare dispatch documentation and ensure orders are ready for delivery.
Assist with vehicle loading and coordinate with drivers.
Distribution & Logistics
Plan and execute delivery routes, container usage, and scheduling.
Manage driver schedules for efficiency and timeliness.
Coordinate product distribution outside of the warehouse.
Upload invoices to MarketMan and forward to administration for bookkeeping.
Supplier & Procurement Management
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Procure recurring products for stores and resale clients.
Track effectiveness of materials used in production, maintaining emergency stock of critical supplies and equipment.
Inventory & Stock Control
Oversee stock levels across warehouse and store locations.
Analyze consumption trends to improve ordering and reduce waste.
Maintain optimal stock to support operations and client needs.
Client & Business Development
Identify and acquire clients for product and beverage resale to reduce input costs.
Develop distribution logistics for resale customers (routes, schedules, coordination).
Support business growth initiatives through strategic supply chain improvements.
Compliance & Standards
Adhere to warehouse safety, hygiene, and handling standards.
Support audits, supplier reviews, and process improvements.
Ensure compliance with legal and corporate requirements related to logistics and distribution.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma minimum; degree or technical training in logistics, supply chain, or business preferred.
Experience:
2-4 years in warehouse, logistics, procurement, or supply chain roles; management experience preferred.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with inventory systems (e.g., MarketMan, ERP, advanced Excel); knowledge of import/export and stock management is a plus.
