We are now hiring for a Quality Control Laborer to join our team in Grande Prairie, AB! This position will require travel to various jobsites in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas to ensure the high quality work our customers are accustomed to continue to be achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Once trained, work independently with minimal supervision
• Perform basic gravel tests
• Lab set-up and tear down
• Load and unload materials/tools from the trucks
• Perform traffic control duties when needed
• Other duties as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Class 5 driver\'s license is a definite preference.
• Basic knowledge road construction materials and tools.

Working Conditions

• Willing to work overtime, as required
• Willing to work night shift, as required
• Use of personal protection equipment is required.
• Must comply with the company\'s drug and alcohol policy, including testing requirements.
• Must comply with all company policies.
• Must be able to work respecting safety policies and procedures.
• Use of sunscreen, long sleeves, and appropriate headgear is recommended.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Work is performed in an outdoor setting, which could include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.
• Out of town travel may be required and may consist of remote locations, accommodations and Live Out Allowance are provided if applicable.
