We manufacture and sell aluminum trim systems for lap siding, fiber cement panel and aluminum composite materials (ACM), primarily in the United States and Canada. You will work from our Head Quarters in Calgary SE, you will be a member of our LEAN Operations Team.

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated

Wall Builder

to join our construction and testing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building various types of wall frames used in mock-ups, test assemblies, and full-scale prototypes. This position requires strong practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Proficiently use hand tools, power tools, and equipment involved in wall construction. Understand and work with materials such as steel/wood studs, sheathing (various types), hat channels, Z-girts, and other framing accessories. Interpret and follow construction and engineering drawings to accurately build test walls and mock-up walls. Handle, move, and assemble heavy components as part of daily tasks. Maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing materials. Operate a forklift to move materials safely and efficiently. Communicate effectively with the design and engineering teams to ensure project requirements are met. Identify and solve construction-related problems with a proactive and creative mindset. Work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards. Use basic Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting, checklists, and inventory logs.

Qualifications:



Proven experience in wall framing or construction-related roles. Strong understanding of construction materials and techniques. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and sketches. Forklift license is a strong asset. Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling heavy materials. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven

Pay: $22.00-$23.00 per hour
