Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in flooring installation, including experience with various materials such as tile, hardwood, and laminate. This role involves working in residential and commercial settings to ensure high-quality flooring solutions that meet client specifications. The Flooring Installer will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, preparing surfaces, and executing installations with precision.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to determine the layout of flooring installations. Prepare subfloors by cleaning, leveling, and repairing surfaces as needed. Install various types of flooring materials including tile, hardwood, laminate, and carpet. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing flooring materials. Apply caulking where necessary to ensure a clean finish and prevent moisture damage. Collaborate with the team to understand the needs and provide recommendations for flooring solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the installation process. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation to ensure timely project completion.

Requirements

3 years of experience in flooring and tiling installation or a related field such as carpentry or maintenance person services. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical drawings. Strong skills in tile laying and various flooring installation techniques. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in flooring projects. Ability to work independently or as part of a team while maintaining high standards of quality. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
