Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Enter orders into the POS system and ensure accuracy
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Handle cash and process payments accurately using cashiering skills
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Time management skills to ensure efficient service and meet guest expectations
- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with kitchen staff
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred, but not required
