We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service, ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to a welcoming dining experience. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently. Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The Server will play a key role in creating a positive atmosphere for guests and supporting the overall operations of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including Micros POS.
Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality.
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are adhered to in accordance with health regulations.
Assist in food preparation and kitchen operations as needed, supporting team members across departments.
Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables while providing attentive guest service.
Address guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sanitation of dining areas and service stations.
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or restaurant industry preferred but not required.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation protocols diligently.
Good time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling cash transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food handling, food safety standards, and proper serving techniques.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
