Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a memorable dining experience for all patrons. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Prior experience in food service and familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS are highly valued. The Server will play a crucial role in upholding food safety standards, managing guest interactions, and supporting the overall operation of the restaurant.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cashiering duties Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed Ensure food safety protocols are followed during service and handling Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy periods Respond promptly to guest inquiries or special requests, providing excellent guest services

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is advantageous Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations Ability to perform basic math for cashiering and order calculations Experience with food industry standards including serving, upselling, and food safety practices Kitchen experience or background in hospitality is a plus but not required Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
