Overview

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional guest service, efficiently managing bar operations, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires a strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation, excellent multitasking skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Prior restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, along with familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS. The bartender will be responsible for preparing drinks, serving guests, handling cash transactions, and ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and enhance their experience Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure cleanliness of the bar area Operate POS systems for order entry and cash handling, including Micros POS Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities Maintain proper food handling and sanitation standards in accordance with health regulations Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at shift end Assist in food preparation when necessary, including basic kitchen tasks Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve multiple guests promptly Ensure guest safety by monitoring alcohol consumption and adhering to responsible serving practices

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly desirable Familiarity with food safety protocols and sanitation procedures Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and cashiering Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations Knowledge of food handling, food preparation, and serving techniques is a plus Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining professionalism
