WAHVE - Senior Claims Representative - Casualty / Bodily InjuryInsuranceType: ContractONTARIONational Insurer requires Senior Claims Representative - Casualty / Bodily InjuryThis is a WAHVE opportunity offering:
- Contract Duration ~ 6 months, potential for extension
- Hours per week ~ 40 hours per week
- Canadian based 100% Remote Work
- 15 years insurance industry experience
- 5+ years of progressively challenging claims handling experience in Bodily Injury/Casualty Litigation
- Commercial General Liability Claims handling experience, both Bodily Injury and Property damage.
- Managing a portfolio of Senior Bodily Injury, Casualty, and General Liability Claims.
- Engage all stakeholders in the effective management of a claim including underwriting and senior leadership
- Confirming policy coverages, investigating claims to determine liability and quantum. Maintaining detailed file records.
- Attending/participating in mediations, pre-trials and settlement initiatives.
- Settle claims directly with claimants and with Plaintiff\'s Counsel.
- Direct and Instruct Defense Counsel.
- Mentoring of junior team members
