Job Description

One of Vancouver\'s Tier 1 developers is looking to bolster their accounting and finance team with a Director, of Corporate Finance and Accounting. This firm has a rich history and deep roots, evolving to become more than a real estate developer and general contractor; they build communities and create homes. Reporting to the CFO, the Director, Corporate Finance & Accounting will own the financial reporting and treasury management of the organization while providing oversight to a regional team. Ultimately, the Director will be responsible for:

- Consolidated financial reporting and general accounting for all corporate entities

- Treasury functions including cash forecasting, liquidity management, financing, and banking

- Internal controls and processes

- Leadership to a regional accounting team split between Vancouver and Seattle offices

- Strategic involvement in financial planning and forecasting with a cross functional team

Requirements

As the ideal candidate you bring a CPA designation coupled with significant experience in a leadership capacity. You have worked for sophisticated, multi-entity businesses and are comfortable with complex corporate structures; bringing direct real estate experience is helpful, but is NOT required. Cash management and treasury functions are the norm for you, and you pride yourself on generating meaningful reporting to help inform strategic decision making. Ultimately, you are a business professional looking for an organization where you can make an impact.
