About the Role
We're seeking an experienced VP of Operations to lead our operational functions and drive strategic initiatives across sourcing, production, logistics, and technology. This senior leadership role will oversee multiple departments while developing and implementing operational strategies. You'll be responsible for optimizing end-to-end operations, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless execution of client deliverables. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on operational expertise.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Operations Leadership
Develop and execute comprehensive operational strategies aligned with business objectives
Drive operational excellence across sourcing, production, warehousing, and logistics
Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Oversee implementation of new operational technologies, including customer portal platform

Sourcing & Procurement Operations
Develop and implement sourcing strategies across multiple product categories
Lead vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management
Build and maintain strategic supplier relationships
Monitor supplier performance and address issues proactively
Drive cost efficiencies and identify savings opportunities
Ensure compliance with sourcing policies and regulatory requirements
Support new product launches by securing timely supply of materials
Operational Performance
Monitor and report on operational KPIs and performance metrics
Identify and mitigate supply chain and operational risks
Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery planning
Partner with Finance on budget planning and cost management
Collaborate with Marketing and Creative teams on project feasibility and timelines
Required Qualifications
Experience
8+ years in operations leadership roles with P&L responsibility
5+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain strategy and management
Experience managing diverse teams (10+ direct/indirect reports)
Proven track record in process improvement and cost optimization
Industry Experience (Preferred)
Marketing procurement agency experience
highly preferred
Print production, promotional products, or retail display manufacturing
Experience with complex, custom product manufacturing
Understanding of beverage industry or CPG marketing
Technical Skills
Experience with ERP systems, procurement platforms
Project management certification (PMP) preferred
Understanding of manufacturing and logistics operations
Familiarity with technology implementation projects
