- Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance)



Position Summary:


The Vice President of Finance (VP of Finance) is a senior leader responsible for the financial health of the organization. This role provides strategic direction, oversees day-to-day financial operations, and ensures compliance with regulatory and reporting standards. As a trusted advisor to the President, Ownership and Executive Team, the VP of Finance plays a critical role in guiding growth, managing risk, and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve company objectives.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership



Partner with the executive team to define and execute long-term financial strategy. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making and business growth. Translate company goals into financial plans, budgets, and performance targets.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)



Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modeling. Deliver clear and actionable reporting on financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Develop KPIs to monitor company health and operational efficiency.

Accounting & Reporting



Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. Oversee internal controls, policies, and processes to safeguard company assets. Manage audits, tax filings, and relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.

Treasury & Capital Management



Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital. Oversee banking relationships and capital allocation strategies. Support fundraising, investor relations, and capital markets activity as needed.

Risk & Compliance



Identify and mitigate financial risks. Ensure compliance with all legal, tax, and financial regulations. Work closely with Legal and Compliance teams to strengthen governance frameworks.

Team Leadership



Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional development. Build scalable financial systems and processes to support growth. Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications



Proven experience as VP of Finance, Finance Director, or senior finance leader. Strong knowledge of financial law, accounting principles, and reporting standards. Experience in financial planning, risk management, and capital management. Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $125,000.00-$175,000.00 per year
