About the Opportunity
  • Manages business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and development as a member of executive team.
  • Establish and maintain sound business relationships with banking/lending institutions and other resources of capital.
  • Oversee financial staff management, motivation, training, recruitment and selection.
  • Oversee the Corporate Accounting team in all aspects of corporate accounting and reporting.
  • Ensure that the monthly operational results are accurate on a consolidated basis and reported within prescribed timelines.
  • Review monthly financial statements, MD&A and other external reporting for presentation to the Senior Executive Team, Board of Directors and all external stakeholders.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for the corporate office (G&A) and projects.
  • Address emerging accounting issues and implement any new accounting guidelines within Finance processes and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and local regulatory laws and rules for financial reporting.
  • Own internal controls within Corporate Accounting processes.
  • Oversee and administer the organization\xe2\x80\x99s financial reporting tools and systems.
  • Lead the Finance and IT department in the implementation and upgrades of systems and technologies as they relate to the accounting function.
  • Drive initiatives to promote streamlined processes, automation, operational efficiency and enhanced internal controls.
  • Act as the business partner for supporting support services functions in their variance analysis on a monthly basis.
  • Focus on developing high-performing teams and operational excellence.
About You
  • Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration and/or Accounting
  • CPA designation
  • Experience working in the manufacturing sector
  • Leadership experience \xe2\x80\x93 Experience leading and managing large teams for performance
  • Experience with Process Improvement
  • Experience with Data Analytics (eg Tableau, Power BI)
  • Experience with Systems (eg MS Dynamics)
  • Mininum 10-15 years experience required
Salary Range
$190,000 - $210,000/year
