What you'll do: 
 Lead the North American Account Management Organization:
 Provide strategic oversight of the SMB and Mid-Market Account Management function in North America, including leadership of managers and their teams. Ensure alignment with company objectives and a strong focus on client success. 
 Drive Strategic Account Planning:
 Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute account strategies that support client goals, drive expansion, and increase revenue across all customer segments. 
 Enhance Client Retention:
 Design and implement targeted initiatives to improve gross retention, proactively addressing client needs and fostering long-term partnerships. 
 Accelerate Growth & Expansion:
 Identify and pursue cross-sell and upsell opportunities, positioning Absorb's solutions to deliver increased value to existing clients. 
 Assess and Strengthen Account Health:
 Conduct regular reviews to uncover growth potential and risk indicators. Partner with the Client Success team to mitigate risks and optimize overall account performance. 
 Build and Develop High-Performing Teams:
 Recruit, mentor, and grow a best-in-class Account Management team, including both leaders and individual contributors. Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous development. 
 Leverage Data for Strategic Insights:
 Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, delivering actionable insights to inform business decisions and improve operational effectiveness. 
 Oversee Contract Negotiations:
 Lead and support the negotiation and management of client contracts, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with company standards. 
 Champion the Client Experience:
 Advocate for a customer-first mindset across the organization. Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client and team issues, driving resolution through cross-functional collaboration.
