Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented

Volunteer Paralegal

to support our legal team with case preparation, document drafting, and legal research. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring legal professionals, paralegal students, or experienced paralegals looking to give back. Your efforts will directly support individuals and families in urgent need of legal representation.

Responsibilities



Prepare and organize legal documents such as affidavits, declarations, and immigration forms. Assist attorneys or accredited representatives with case preparation and filings. Maintain and update case files and legal databases. Conduct legal and policy research related to immigration law. Draft correspondence to clients, courts, and government agencies. Communicate with clients regarding document collection, case status, and deadlines. Provide administrative support including file management and data entry.

Qualifications



Completed or enrolled in a paralegal studies program (or equivalent experience) Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Familiarity with immigration law is a plus but not required.
