Job Description

Associated Youth Services of Peel (AYSP) is an accredited, not-for-profit charitable organization, supporting children, youth and families with mental health and/or youth justice issues. We provide a client-centred, strength-based approach to engage in a manner which is culturally sensitive, non-judgmental and respectful. Working together with our service partners, using a multi-systems perspective, AYSP provides services that are evidence-based and evidence-informed.



Our volunteers bring a wide range of knowledge and experience from diverse backgrounds to our workplace and are an integral part of programs supporting the community we serve. AYSP offers a supportive and friendly team environment and a rewarding volunteer experience with the opportunity to network and gain new skills, learn about resources in your community and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people we support.



We are currently seeking volunteers for a variety of positions, who are passionate about serving youth and families, have superior interpersonal skills, and are vibrant, flexible, and compassionate!

Must be a minimum of 19 years' old Able to commit to the Volunteer Program for a minimum of 1 year (in person, office and community settings, as well as virtually) Able to participate in a volunteer training program Able to provide a clear, current Vulnerable Sector Screening Able to maintain the confidentiality and privacy of AYSP clients Are passionate about serving youth and families and have superior interpersonal skills
