Summary

We are seeking a volunteer Bus Driver to join our team at Choices in Community Living, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to various destinations while providing excellent customer service. Your contributions will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a bus to transport residents to appointments, activities, and community events. Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during transit. Provide excellent customer service by assisting residents with boarding and disembarking. Maintain accurate records of trips and vehicle inspections. Communicate effectively with staff and residents regarding transportation needs. Adhere to all traffic laws and organizational policies while driving.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years experience driving a bus (or a commercial size vehicle). Claims Experience Letter from previous company's insurer covering the last 3 years. Alberta Commercial Driver's License Driver Abstract dated (Must be updated annually) Driver Evaluation (Must be completed annually) Driver Knowledge of CICL Bus/Van Safety & Maintenance Program Manual (Must be completed at time of hire) Record of all training undertaken by a Driver related to the operation of a commercial vehicle and compliance with safety laws
