Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Vocal Teacher to join our music team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in music with voice as their primary discipline. This role involves creating a positive learning environment where students can explore their musical talents and develop their skills. The applicant must have 2-3 years teaching voice, pedagogy in voice, have prepared students for exams and concerts and have solid piano skills. As well the teacher will need to:

Develop and implement engaging music lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Teach fundamental music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, and music theory. Provide instruction in vocal techniques, adapting to different skill levels. Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback. Have a diverse knowledge of repertoire in different styles.

Skills

Strong knowledge of music theory and practical experience in teaching music. Experience working with students of all ages. Ability to create engaging lesson plans that inspire students to learn and explore music. Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and connect with students of varying ages. Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
