Job Summary

A background in early childhood education is highly desirable, as well as experience working with children in various capacities.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the educational needs of students. Provide tutoring and individualized instruction to support student learning. Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians regarding academic performance. Engage in classroom management to maintain a safe and productive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum development and instructional strategies. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices.

Skills

Strong teaching skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience working with children in an educational or caregiving setting. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to create a positive classroom environment that fosters learning and curiosity. Proficiency in tutoring techniques to provide additional academic support when needed. Cooking skills are a plus, as they can be integrated into creative lesson plans or activities. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and colleagues.
