Arts Center for Creative Development for Children and Adults

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Vocal Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be versatile in various vocal styles, possess strong sight-reading skills, and have a solid understanding of music theory. This role involves teaching vocal lessons to both kids and adults of all ages and skill levels, fostering their growth as vocalists while encouraging creativity and self-expression.

- Teach vocal lessons across a variety of styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.) to students of all ages, including children and adults

- Develop customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and goals

- Instruct students in sight-reading techniques and music theory

- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their vocal skills

- Prepare students for performances, auditions, and competitions

- Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment

- Keep up-to-date with current vocal techniques and pedagogical trends

- Bachelor's degree in Music, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or a related field (preferred)

- Proven experience in teaching voice, with a strong emphasis on diverse styles

- Proficiency in music theory and sight-reading

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all ages

- Experience in performance and/or competitions is a plus

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
