Candidate profile (title) Who you are

Candidate profile (text) - Default language - You enjoy creative thinking supported by visual merchandising skills and have a keen eye for aesthetics.
- You have at least one year\'s experience as a Visual Merchandiser in a fast-paced retail environment, with graduate-level training in visual merchandising, industrial design or art.
- You have a passion for interiors, retail, design and the IKEA assortment and are enthusiastic about explaining new concepts verbally and interpreting them visually.
- You are determined to exceed targets and actively improve your abilities, prioritize and organize your own work to make the most of the time available.
- You have a flexible and practical approach to responsibilities and are able to deliver fixtures that enhance people\'s lives at home, exceed customer expectations and ensure unique shopping experiences.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills. You know how to develop creative ideas and concepts while collaborating effectively with others.

Key responsibilities (title) A day in your life with us

Key responsibilities (text) - Demonstrate the uniqueness of the IKEA assortment through your visual merchandising skills and ensure that the store layout creates good product presentation and strong visual impact to facilitate the buying process.
- Actively contribute to gathering knowledge about people\'s needs and dreams in the local market, then translating it into an inspiring presentation of the assortment that contributes to a practical shopping experience.
- Keep abreast of interior design and retail trends to inspire and surprise customers with strong visual impressions.
- Follow all work procedures and assume all related responsibilities. Collaborate with the Communications and Interior Design team and other functions to quickly seize business opportunities as they arise.
- Ensure a high level of quality, simplicity, efficiency and cost control in the planning and implementation of all layouts.
- Keeping customers in mind when working in the sales area, always minimizing disruption and remaining aware of the importance of safety.
- Help design and implement relevant, inspiring and affordable retail fixtures that reflect a wide range of styles and price points, appeal to the tastes of many and exceed our customers\' expectations.
- Actively contribute to the department\'s action plan and the development of vitality initiatives that will grow the business and drive long-term profitability.
