As an experienced Visual Arts Instructor, you will teach a variety of visual arts clay, drawing, painting, ceramics, cartooning, two -and-three-dimensional media) courses for preschoolers, children, youth, and adults. Under supervision, you will be responsible for the leading, planning and instruction in visual arts programs requiring the development of skill base and knowledge in the activity/discipline. Primary duties include:
Teach specific skills to participants through progressive development and sharing of knowledge.
Develop course outlines, lesson plans, and resources based on named learning goals and outcomes.
Provide encouragement and coaching of other instructors when assigned) and provide recommendation on enhancing performance and program delivery.
Ensure safety of participants.
Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies, and program space.
Maintain program records and assist with program evaluation.
Maintain a high degree of customer services.
Level 2 instructor will also provide encouragement and coaching to other instructors.
