Craigdarroch Castle is a National Historic Site located in Victoria British Columbia. This house museum welcomes 100,000 visitors a year for self-guided tours and delivers specialty programs and events. You will be joining a team of tourism and museum industry professionals supported by a number of volunteers.

The person working in this position serves as a support person to Craigdarroch Castle's staff and volunteers. Their duties will assist in providing a top quality visitor experience for Craigdarroch Castle's visitors and business partners. Specific duties will involve, but not be limited to, the following: Working as admissions and gift shop cashier, museum docent, assisting with group tours and special events.
Visitor service staff must be energetic and outgoing. You will work constantly in the public eye and are always willing to provide assistance or to answer a question. You work well in a team or independently and manage your time efficiently to set and accomplish goals. You are respectful, friendly, and well presented, enjoy people and interact well with other members of the team. You adapt readily to changes in your daily work environment.
