Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Visit Verification Coordinator whose responsibility is to manage and validate home support worker visit records in AlayaCare to ensure accuracy and compliance with visit-verification requirements. This role is critical to support payroll accuracy, correct billing, and adherence to regulatory standards.
The successful candidate will review, verify, resolve exceptions, and approve visit records in AlayaCare's Visit Verification workflow, ensuring caregivers have correctly clocked in and out for every visit.
The position can be based out of Baie Verte, Springdale, Grand Falls-Windsor, or Lewisporte.
Key Responsibilities
Run daily Visit Verification processes in AlayaCare to identify unverified or exception visits.
Review failed visit exceptions (e.g., missing clock-in/out, GPS or time discrepancies) and resolve them according to policy.
Ensure that all care workers' clock-in and clock-out times align with scheduled visits and Newfoundland Labrador Health Services requirements.
Communicate with care staff and supervisors to clarify timekeeping discrepancies and follow up on missing or inaccurate visit information.
Update verification reasons and resolution codes within AlayaCare and document resolutions.
Approve confirmed visits for billing and payroll once compliance is verified.
Maintain clear records of actions taken and resolutions applied for audit readiness.
Provide summary reports to management on verification outcomes and compliance metrics.
Support process improvement initiatives to minimize future visit verification issues.
Qualifications
Required:
? Proficiency with Computers
? Strong attention to detail and commitment to procedural accuracy.
? Excellent communication skills to liaise with care staff and operations teams.
? Comfortable working independently in an office environment.
