As our Kitchen Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our kitchen operations, acting in line with our mission: "To deliver an authentic Alberta BBQ experience that delights our customers with exceptional quality, flavor, and service." Your key responsibilities will include:

Core Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate kitchen staff to deliver exceptional food quality and service. Implement and maintain food safety standards, cleanliness, and sanitation protocols. Oversee inventory management, including ordering and vendor relationships, ensuring timely, budget-conscious deliveries. Design and implement staff training programs focused on culinary skills and performance improvement. Collaborate with management on menu development, pricing strategies, and culinary innovation. Conduct regular kitchen meetings, training sessions, and quality checks to ensure consistency. Support promotional campaigns, seasonal menus, and special event preparations. Develop best practices that drive efficiency, profitability, and consistency in kitchen operations.

Supplemental Duties

Analyze menu pricing, product mix, and dish performance for continuous improvement. Advocate for sustainability and environmental practices within kitchen operations. Assist in kitchen renovations and logistical planning for events. Troubleshoot kitchen equipment issues and maintain relationships with suppliers. Pitch in wherever needed -- because that's how great teams win.

What We're Looking For

2+ years of management experience in a kitchen setting or culinary environment. Strong leadership skills with a passion for developing culinary talent. A coachable mindset, excellent work ethic, and sharp problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and during peak event seasons. A love for quality food, hospitality, and creating memorable experiences.
