Are You A Violinist? Do you have a passion for teaching, music, and working with people? How would you like to do all of that without needing to do any marketing, booking, payment collection, or admin work? Then LMA may be the place for you! We do all that; all you have to do is TEACH! Lethbridge Music Academy is seeking a fun, out-going violin teacher to work with. We currently serve over 600 weekly students, and we\'ve been consistently growing our schedules since we opened almost 5 years ago. Currently we have open contracts for casual substitute violin teachers, as well as weekly teachers to help us cover 40+ violin students. Here are some of the reasons you may want to teach for us... 1. We will take care of all billing, student communication, advertising, scheduling and customer service. All you have to focus on is planning and teaching engaging lessons, and bringing a high energy and positive experience to your students each week! Our number one priority is making sure students learn to love music, and have a good time doing it, and you will have total control over that process. Our professional, full-time office staff will take care of the rest! 2. We can be flexible to your teaching schedule and needs. Although our busiest hours are 4PM to 8PM, we\'re open from 10AM on weekdays and 11AM to 4PM on Saturdays. 3. You will still get paid if a student doesn\'t show up. And while many students take a break for the Summer, forcing teachers to be out of work for a few months each year, we\'ve seen significant growth every Summer, keeping upwards of 80% of our students while enrolling new ones all the way through! Talk to the parents after each lesson! Although 99% of our sessions are private lessons, we do ask for help teaching our group classes as well from time to time, and help is provided for that when needed. Being comfortable using online video apps such as Zoom will also be highly beneficial, as a small percentage of students are taught online. A University education is not required, but teacher\'s need to be competent in their instrument to at least teach up to intermediate levels. We offer lessons to all ages and all skill levels, so teachers should be comfortable working in most genres as well. We ask that all applicants live in the Lethbridge or Southern Alberta area already, or are planning to relocate regardless of a position with us. All teachers must also be willing to submit a current criminal record and vulnerable sector check before beginning with us.
