What you'll do

Install vinyl siding according to project specifications and blueprints, ensuring a perfect fit and finish. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and installing materials. Read and interpret construction schematics to accurately execute installation plans. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety standards. Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process, ensuring proper techniques are followed. Conduct restoration work as needed, including caulking and trim carpentry for a polished final appearance. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in construction or maintenance person roles with a focus on vinyl siding installation. Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of construction estimating. Familiarity with various construction techniques including masonry, framing, and roofing.

Preferred qualifications

Experience with concrete forming, metal stud framing, plumbing, welding, tile laying, and stucco applications. Knowledge of fabrication processes related to siding installation. Previous experience in restoration projects or remodeling is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.75-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50 - 60 per week

Edmonton, AB (T5J): reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
