Job Description

This Graphics Applicator position will work on a wide variety of projects including but not limited to, logo and identity application, graphics, canopies, illuminated building signage, pylons/monuments and channel letters. This is a physically demanding position so the ideal candidate must be capable of standing on their feet for 8 hours per day and lifting moderate/heavy loads.

Knowledge of available materials and print processes, as well as colour management techniques, is preferred. Application and plotter operation skills are also an asset.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- All aspects of print production (print, laminate, cut, etc.)
- Prepare production files for print, as well as vinyl and router (when needed)
- Re-creation/vectorization of customer assets when quality files aren't available
- Equipment maintenance (printers, laminator, plotters, edge)
- Identify and develop new applications/methods to utilize print in existing projects
- Commit to ensuring a clean, safe and efficient work environment

Graphics Application

- Prep substrate surfaces
- Pre-masking vinyl, weeding of image and/or font
- Use of the Rolls Roller and freehand application

Flex/Eradication

- Check for quality when pre-done flex faces are required
- Cut, mark fold lines and eradicate logos

Quality Control

- Ensure careful consideration of sign installation and future servicing requirements during the graphic application process
- Ensure superior attention to detail and quality of product throughout the project cycle with the graphics department

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
