As our new Village Office Coordinator, you will:

Coach and lead the village administrative team with performance, development and training with a focus on individual strengths to develop a high functioning administrative team.

Provide operational support to the village leadership team.

Deliver exceptional customer experience with team members, residents, families, visitors and partners.

Prepare reports, written documentation as well as providing administrative support

Support and embrace our resident-centred social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of service to our residents, visitors, and team members through comprehensive and effective administrative support.

To be successful as our new Village Office Coordinator, you will:

  • Have an office administration certificate or equivalent experience
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and other computer programs
  • Knowledge of Village policies, procedures and practices
  • Familiar with the relevant sections of the Long-Term Care Act and/or Retirement Home Regulatory Authority, Program Standard Manual Requirements and the Resident Bill of Rights
  • Proven Communication skills
  • Attention to detail to ensure all aspects of the Village Operational processes are completed in a timely manner.
  • Be excited by our objectives, our Village philosophy and the family values that shape all aspects of life in a Schlegel Village
  • Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members
It would be an asset if our new Village Office Coordinator has:
  • Previous experience working in the context of a Long-Term Care or Retirement Home
